• Lawyer: A legal professional registered on the Site to offer legal services.
• Client: A person or entity seeking legal services through the Site.

3. Eligibility

• Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with Law Mafia and meet all eligibility requirements. Additionally, you affirm that you have not been previously suspended or removed from the Site and that you have full power and authority to enter into these Terms and comply with them.

4. User Accounts

• Registration: Users must register for an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify Law Mafia immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
• Account Verification: Law Mafia reserves the right to verify the identity of users and may request additional information or documentation to confirm your identity. Failure to comply with verification requests may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Services

• Connecting Clients and Lawyers: Law Mafia provides a platform to connect Clients with Lawyers. We do not provide legal advice or services ourselves. The platform acts solely as an intermediary between Clients and Lawyers.
• Lawyer-Client Relationship: Using our Site facilitates a direct lawyer-client relationship between the Client and the Lawyer. The terms of this relationship, including payment terms, are to be directly negotiated and agreed upon by the Client and the Lawyer. Law Mafia is not a party to any agreements made between Clients and Lawyers.
• Payment Routing: All payments for legal services shall be routed through Law Mafia. This ensures secure transactions and proper record-keeping. Once the payment terms are agreed upon, Clients will make payments to Law Mafia, which will then disburse the appropriate amount to the Lawyer after deducting any applicable platform fees.
• Accuracy of Information: While we strive to verify the credentials of Lawyers listed on our Site, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by Lawyers. Clients are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before engaging with any Lawyer.

6. Payment

• Fees: Clients may be required to pay fees for legal services provided by Lawyers. The specific payment terms will be agreed upon directly between the Client and the Lawyer, but all transactions must be processed through Law Mafia. Fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Platform Fees: Law Mafia may charge fees for using the platform. These fees will be clearly outlined at the time of account registration or service use. Platform fees are non-refundable.
• Payment Processing: Clients will make payments to Law Mafia via the provided payment methods. Law Mafia will then transfer the agreed-upon amount to the Lawyer after deducting any applicable fees. Law Mafia uses secure payment gateways to process all transactions.

Refunds: All payments made for legal services are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. Once a payment is processed and accepted by Law Mafia, it is at the absolute discretion of the Lawyer to decide if any refund is to be issued, and no refund claims will be entertained except under extraordinary circumstances as determined solely by the Lawyer.

• Law Mafia does not assume any responsibility for refund requests or disputes regarding the quality of legal services provided. Clients agree to resolve all refund disputes directly with the Lawyer, and Law Mafia’s role is limited to processing the payments as agreed upon.

7. User Conduct

Prohibited Activities: Users agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Upload or transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, obscene, or infringes any third party’s rights, including intellectual property rights.
• Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Site’s functionality or interfere with any other party’s use of the Site.
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Content Ownership: Users retain ownership of the content they post on the Site. However, by posting content, you grant Law Mafia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content.
